Hi! My name is Sina. I am a current A-level psychology teacher in Cheltenham, delivering the AQA specification to a sixth form school. I have been a tutor for the last 5 years and have a real passion for tutoring and would love to also help you next. Prior to working as a teacher, I was a SEN teaching assistant which has made me well equipped to supporting students with even the most complex and vulnerable needs.

 

I am also an AQA examiner which makes me very well equipped in my knowledge and understanding of what students need to focus on the most, allowing me to ensure students are ready for what they will be specifically examined on. This examiner experience also means that I can provide specialist exam technique assistance.

Additionally, I am currently training as a psychotherapist, which allows me to create a calm, understanding and supportive working environment. Psychotherapy and other types of therapy are a requirement on most psychology specifications, which is beneficial as I can provide more in-depth insights and information into these topics.

My examiner & psychotherapy background allows me to provide a more comprehensive tutoring experience than most teacher/tutors available. Moreover, as a psychology teacher & examiner I have spent hundreds of hours developing and refining my resources to bring about the best results possible. These resources will be shared with students seeking consistent tutoring, to propel learning forward at a quicker rate.

My teaching style focuses on flexibility, adapting myself to the needs of my tutees whilst using my specialised resources to maximise learning. I believe learning should not be stressful or a chore like activity. Instead it should be rewarding and fulfilling, which is something I try to create with my friendly and humorous approach.
